Prerequisite
Participants must have completed beginner-level color grading training or possess equivalent foundational knowledge to enroll in this advanced program.
Introduction
This advanced training program is designed to elevate your team’s color grading skills by focusing on mastering the technical features within the DaVinci Resolve Color page. Building upon foundational knowledge, this course emphasizes practical, hands-on use of grading tools, nodes, masks, scopes, and hardware control surfaces to achieve precision and efficiency.
While an understanding of color theory and storytelling is important, the primary purpose is to enable participants to confidently operate DaVinci Resolve’s advanced software and hardware tools for complex grading workflows. This training prepares colorists to deliver consistent, highquality results aligned with creative objectives through technical mastery.
Training Objectives
By the end of this two-day program, participants will be able to:
- Navigate and master the DaVinci Resolve Color Page, workspace customization, and shortcuts
- Perform advanced color corrections with masks, Power Windows, and continuity matching
- Build and manage complex node-based workflows
- Work efficiently with RAW media, HDR formats, and camera-specific workflows
- Utilize advanced tools and Resolve control panels for precise grading control
- Apply color management and LUT workflows to ensure delivery consistency across devices
